Thailand is the world's most heavily Buddhist country. About 93.6 percent of all the people in Thailand are Buddhists. Thailand, one of the popular Buddhist countries and around 90% of total population are Buddhist. Most of Buddhist devout in Thailand follows Theravada.
Myanmar
Buddhism in Myanmar is practiced by 89% of the country's population, and is predominantly of the Theravada tradition. It is the most religious Buddhist country in terms of the proportion of monks in the population and proportion of income spent on religion.
